Fire Workshops

Fire performance is one of the most sought after skills that performers want to learn. Nothing is quite as mind blowing for an audience than a dance routine that includes fire breathing! Fire can be extremely dangerous and it is extremely important that anyone wishing to learn is taught safely in a controlled environment. Our fully insured and experienced instructors have now taught over 250 baby dragons and our courses are becoming more and more popular each year. Many of our students come back for additional sessions. Whether you are a performer or a group looking for an adrenaline filled day, the fire course will give you an unforgeable experience and potentially set you on your journey to become a professional fire performer. We have recruited a number of Twisted Belles who have attended our courses.

Our workshops are carried out on fixed dates at our regular suitable locations. However we can bring the workshop to you if you have a suitable location available. Private lessons are also available.

Upcoming Workshops

There are currently no planned workshops. If you would like to host or organise a workshop, then please get in touch so we can help arrange this for you.

What Will I Learn?

We always start people off with the fire eating and body burning before moving on to the bigger more dangerous stunts like fire breathing. We teach you the technique to breathe fire the safest way possible, which fuels to use and the correct way to breathe and hold.

We teach one course to learn the basics of these skills but as with all skills, it requires practice to reach performers level. You will not be ready to perform after just 1 lesson. Fire performers spend years practising their craft. Nobody is ever “to good” to keep developing.
This class is suitable for beginners who want to start their fire journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it hurt? Can it burn me?
The answer is NO it shouldn’t hurt, if you are following our instructions and doing it correctly,
YES, fire can and does burn if you don't do it correctly . It takes a few seconds to do "burn damage" to your skin so as long as you keep the fire moving you shouldn't get burnt.

Can I come to your classes as a total beginner?
YES, we offer classes for all skill levels and are happy to answer any queries you may have.

Can I teach my friends?
NO, absolutely not! we request that your learned skills with us are not passed on to others. It took us 15 years combined to build up the experience and knowledge we feel is necessary to be able to teach these skills. We spend hours researching fuels and techniques to deliver you the safest course possible and 1 lesson with us is not enough knowledge to pass on to others, regardless of how much they may ask you to. It’s just not worth the risk.
Please send anyone you know who is interested in learning back to us.

Is it bad for me/my health?
YES is the short answer, the fuel and soot are toxic and not meant for consumption, long term exposure to fumes and fuels can affect your health in the long term, we ask that each student fill out a health questionnaire and seek medical advice prior to booking if they are unsure.

Do you supply the equipment?
YES, we supply all the equipment, fuel and safety devices. (You can also purchase a fire starter kit from us on request)

Do you put anything on your skin or in your mouth to stop you from burning?
NO, there are no tricks or cheats, you will be learning skills. Like how to control and manipulate the fire safely, in a safe environment, with highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors.

Can I bring a stag or hen party?
Yes, we provide a thrilling experience for groups but they must be over 18 and not have had any alcohol within a day prior to attending.

How many people have you taught? And has anyone ever injured themselves badly? Over 250 students, in over 30 locations since launching our courses and we have no incidents reported to date.
